授業の採点も終わり、春学期の授業業務がほぼ終了したので、ぼちぼちジュネーブ滞在準備を進めようと思っている。
7月にジュネーブ大学の秘書さんからいただいたメールで、ジュネーブ滞在許可証取得のために必要な書類はだいたいわかった。
- 娘たちのパスポートのコピー（a copy of your daughter's passports）
- 娘たちの出生証明書（a copy of your daughter's birth certificates with official translation）
- 婚姻の証明書（a copy of your marriage certificate with official translation）
- 家族みんなのパスポート写真（one color passport photo for each member of the family）
- 大学からのレター（a letter from your institution proving your affiliation and authorization for your stay in Geneva (for both of you)）
- 資産の証明（a proof of sufficient financial resources for the duration of your stay at the University of Geneva (for both of you)）
- PhDの学位の取得証明書（a copy of your highest diploma (for both of you)
1については、自分たちのパスポートのコピーは送付済みなので、娘たちのパスポートを取得しなければならない。
2と3については、戸籍謄本でよいだろう。翻訳をつけなければならない。
4は大丈夫。5は大学にお願いしなければならない。7もうちにあるので大丈夫。でも、翻訳をつけなきゃ。
ちょっとややこしいのは、6の資産の証明。これについて先方に質問したら、以下の回答をもらった。
Proof of sufficient funds
There is no specific form for that. However, please make sure your annual salary is mentioned in the letter from your institution proving your affiliation and authorization for your stay in Geneva (if you have, you may attach a document certifying the annual amount salary).On top of this, you may send us a personal bank book showing a sufficient balance to cover your expenses while in Switzerland. Or print-out of internet banking of at least the last three months (salary payments must be mentioned). These documents must include the account holders name and information on the account activity (deposit/withdrawal).
Also, shall you receive any financial assistance for your travel costs/expenses regarding your stay in Geneva, you may also send a document mentioning the amount, details and conditions of this assistance.
つまり、以下のことを証明するものでなければならない
- 年間給与（大学からのレター）
- インターネットバンキングの明細（直近3ヶ月の給与が明示されたもの）
- その他、金銭的援助
「様式自由」というけど、用意するのはややこしそう。
まあ、「ちゃんとお金をもっています！」ということを証明しろ、ということらしい。
スイスフラン高＆円安がひどくて、円をフランに換算して示すと「給与すくなっ！！」って先方に思われるだろうけど・・・
